Ulta Beauty Rebranding

This project was created during a continuing education class at the School of Visual Arts. Friendly, playful, and contrast are the themes used through the process of creating a wordmark for the beauty store, Ulta Beauty. These themes helped shape the wordmark, colors, fonts, design elements, and applications for the branding.

Friendly: Vibrant colors, dynamic shapes/design elements, and flowing script.
Playful: Expressive script, blocks of color, composition/elements that expand out of bounds, large scale, active hand-drawn swatches, and makeup marks.
Contrast: Mix of script/serifs and sans serifs, color palette, shapes/blocks of color, clean/smooth and textured design elements.
